Aside from building skills the children will take home resources and sensory projects/tools that relate to strategies used during each session.
Week 1: All About Me & Body Awareness- focuses on Interoception based principles while incorporating fine motor, tactile and sensory based strategies. Participants will learn how their body interacts with the environment and practice belly-breathing techniques.
Week 2: Fall Sensory Activities- includes fall themed gross/fine motor and sensory fun! Participants will continue to learn about breathing techniques and take home some puffy pumpkin slime!
Week 3: Fine Motor Focus- focuses on fine motor skill building through fun and interactive projects.
Week 4: Letters, Colors, Shapes & Numbers- explore numbers, colors, letters and shapes in an interactive multi-sensory way. Children will take home resources to continue building these skills at home.
Week 5: Winter Wonderland- BRRR..more physical movement and fine motor skill building themed around winter and we’re making SNOW!
